Classy Restaraunt adds Special Ingredient to Recipe

A high class restaurant, called On The Thames,  situated in an idyllic surrounding on the bank of the River Thames in leafy Buckinghamshire was suffering from high reverberant noise levels. The owners spoke to many suppliers with a view to providing a viable and effective acoustic solution to their noise problem over a period of two years without any success.

It was by chance, that they heard of Soundsorba via a customer who came to dine at the restaurant. Soundsorba's technical acoustic manager visited the restaurant and designed a scheme using the Echosorba stick-on sound absorbing acoustic
panel to provide the maximum sound reduction.  Echosorba acoustic panels have a Noise Reduction Coefficient of 0.86 ( which is 86% sound absorption). The fact that it could be fitted by local labour made this appealing as the installation had to be scheduled without inteferring with the restaurant opening times.

On completion, Richard, the owner of On The Thames restaurant was very pleased with the reduction in noise levels. He said that "his customers has noticed a big improvement in reduction in noise even when the installation was only half completed.  A number of our customers are commenting on how pleasant and quiet it is to eat at the restaurant. Some customers who stopped coming to the restaurant purely for the reason of the noise are now re booking
again".

Richard added that "the cost of this acoustic treatment work was paid within weeks by extra customers which we will be gaining.  Although my restaurant was fully booked last week , I could not hear the noise from the other half of the restaurant and got nervous in case all the customers have walked out. I was very relieved when I walked to the other half of the hall to find that the customers had not walked put but were eating and chatting very happily in the much quiter environment. I am really over the moon that I found Soundsorba".
