Scout Hall – Cookham Scout Hall

The Cookham Scout Group contacted us to help them with their noise issue in their hall. After a site visit we noticed that a wall panel solution would not be suitable as there were many displays on the walls of the hall. The Scout Group made it clear that the walls were not to be touched. The Scout Hall had hard reflective materials for every surface which made it near impossible to bear when in use. As the walls were off bounds, this left us with the option of using the ceiling. At Soundsorba we have many acoustic panel solutions for walls and ceiling, so it was easy to find a solution for them.

School – Blue Coat School

The Blue Coats School had a number of areas in the school which were causing them acoustic problems. We worked alongside the school decision makers to establish he best possible acoustic panel solutions for each of these areas.

The problematic areas were the Dining Hall, Arts Classroom, and the Reception area. All of these areas were large spaces with lots of reflective surfaces around. This made it very difficult for the teachers and pupils to communicate.

School – Aylesbury Vale Academy

Architects specified the use of Wallsorba and Cloudsorba acoustic panels to reduce the echo and reverberation in accordance with BB93 for the new Aylesbury Vale Academy.

The vast range of colours was very useful for the client as they were able to match the acoustic panels to their various design themes for each area. The Dining hall, sports hall, classrooms and school hall all needed to be treated with an acoustic solution.
