DIFFUSORBA™ sound reflecting diffusers are used to distribute sound evenly and avoid areas where sound is either weak, too strong or cannot be heard clearly.

DIFFUSORBA™ sound reflectors help to provide greater sound coverage for speech and music and are often used to improve speech intelligibility and music clarity in music rooms, studios, lecture theatres, conference rooms, classrooms and auditoriums.

Diffusorba™ Sound Reflectors are easy to handle as they are very lightweight, this makes them easy to install. We recommend fixing these products at high levels as they may become damaged at lower levels.

DIFFUSORBA PANELS are installed using the 'silicone' adhesive which comes ready to use in mastic tube cartridges The adhesive adheres immediately upon contact.

However, it is still possible to correct placement of tiles within 3 minutes after adhesion. 'Silicone' adhesive provides a secure bond to under surfaces such as sheet metal, trapezoidal corrugated sheet metal and PVC.

The under surface must be clean, dry, solid and free from oil and grease residue. A bead of 'silicone' adhesive is applied to the back of the tile to be adhered, around the tile perimeter and several bead stripes are applied to the intermediate areas of the tile.

The number of stripes depends on the particular tile version and tile size. Ensure that adequate bead stripes are applied to prevent any sagging of the tile in any area.

We recommend a test adhesion to be carried out before proceeding with the full installation.

Coverage is approximately ½ cartridge per Diffusorba.

Dimensions

There are two diffusers in the Diffusorba range, the Pyramid diffuser and the Barrel diffuser.

The two designs come in nominal dimensions of 593 x 593 x 178mm and can be used together or separately to create different wall and ceiling patterns.

Approximately 3.4kg per diffuser.

Fire Resistance

Diffusorba™ Sound Reflectors are treated with a flame retardant additive to reduce the rate of flame spread.
