When the Millennium Dome was built and opened in 2000 there was a requirement for a studio within the dome for radio stations and also for announcements and other activities within the dome.

The sound quality within the room was paramount for the broadcasting in such a large indoor building therefore the Wallsorba acoustic wall panels were chosen for their high performance, wide range of colours and ease of installation.

The panels were supplied to site and installed by Alan Stewart Specialist Building Services into the studio. The finished room aided professional sound quality for the wide range of broadcasting events which took place within the Millennium Dome.
