SCREENSORBA acoustic screens have exceptional acoustic
performance. They are double sided acoustic units with an internal sound reduction core. These screens reduce direct sound transmission from one work zone to another, and also absorbs sound, hence reducing flanking sound reflections into adjacent work zones. Depending on your requirements, Soundsorba offer three styles:
Freestanding screens with linking facility
Full height screens with door modules
Desk mounted screens available with wire management

Application
Used for reducing reverberant noise in open areas and screening off noisy equipment. SCREENSORBA acoustic screens can also give acoustic isolation between office workstations. It is one of the most effective means for acoustical control in the open office.
| Three styles of screens are offered as below:- |
Freestanding Screens
Freestanding screens can be used with the simple linking facility or in stand alone situations using flat feet. |
Full Height Screens
These screens can be used up to 2.4m high. Door modules are available in a wide range of wood veneer, laminate or painted finishes or can be stained to match existing decor. Stability is achieved using discreet, unobtrusive floor fixing brackets and securing to adjacent walls or furniture. |
Desk Mounted Screens
Desk mounted screens are shown below with optional integral wire management which complies with BS 6396 (1995). Brackets are individually designed to ensure that the screens will fit securely to the desks. |

Appearance |

A wide range of screen fabrics are available. Aluminium or plastic posts and extrusions are available in four standard finishes: black, light grey, dark grey and brown. Other colours can be supplied subject to minimum quantities. Fabric swatch cards and paint finishes are available on request. |

SCREENSORBA™ acoustic screens are manufactured from resin bonded glass fibre specifically tooled and pressed for maximum sound absorption which is covered with acoustic fabric. They have a wood based internal sound reduction core. |

Dimensions
Screens can be supplied in an infinite configuration of widths and heights to suit your specific building and furniture requirements. The nominal thickness of the screens is 65-78mm depending on the style. Other thicknesses available on request. |
Site Survey/Installation
Depending on the style of screens required and the size and complexity of the project, we can offer a site survey and full delivery and installation service. |
Flammability
The acoustic glass fibre core is rated Class 0. Fabrics are fire rated as Class 1 as standard. Class 0 fabrics are available on request. |
Weight
Glass fibre core weight is approx. 4kg/m2. |
