Marlow Rowing Club contacted us about a problem them were having with long reverberation times in their social area. This was having an impact on the club as what should have been a relaxing area was very unpleasant to be in due to the high noise levels.

Library – Ruskin College

We were contacted by Ruskin College to provide an acoustic solution for their Library.

Ruskin College is an independent college based in Oxford that specialises in providing educational opportunities for adults with few or no qualifications.

Office – Cloudsorba

A firm of architects contacted Soundsorba for an acoustic solution for their new offices. Modern offices look great with their wood flooring, nice shiny new desks, high ceilings and flat white walls. They don’t, however, create a great acoustic environment to work in, especially with half a dozen busy architects on the phone.

School – Hammersmith Academy

We worked alongside the architects to design the scheme for school acoustic treatment in the newly built Hammersmith Academy in London.

The Academy is based in a specialist four storey building which boasts state-of-the-art facilities including a large Theatre, Drama and Dance studios, Digital Editing and IT suites, Library, Fitness Suite, four-bay Sports Hall, outdoor Astroturf area, modern practical art and design, science and technology spaces, and modern classrooms and larger learning bases. All of these spaces required acoustic treatment.
