Acoustic Ceiling Panels
Barriersorba Acoustic Panels
Barriersorba sheets are used to reduce noise in roofs, floors, ceilings and walls. Its heavy mass makes it an ideal “sound stopping” barrier to noise travelling from one area of a building to another area. It is simple and easy to fit hence very popular with D.I.Y enthusiasts as well as professionals.
- Thin material to minimise any loss of room space
- Lessen the impact of noise and reverberation
- Recyclable and eco-friendly

Barriersorba Sound Reduction Sheet
Cut Costs & Noise Transmission
Barriersorba is designed to improve the sound reduction performance of walls, floors, ceilings, enclosure constructions, either as a single sound barrier such as a noise curtain, or part of a composite combined with mass and/or sound absorbing materials.

Market Leading Sound Barriers
At Soundsorba, we have had the privilege of working with some of the biggest companies in the world to limit noise transmission. These industry leaders recognise the importance of exceptional acoustic solutions, and they trust Soundsorba to deliver.
The flexibility of the sheets allows it to be cut and sealed around any obstructions and services. The sheets are free of mineral fibres and hence can be used safely in ventilated voids.
Barriersorba is easy to handle, cut to size and install, alongside providing a cost-effective sound barrier solution.
This fitting can be carried out by any DIY person without any significant increase in floor height as the Barriersorba has a nominal thickness of only 2mm.

Carefully Chosen Acoustic Materials
We’ve designed Barriersorba to be as robust as it is effective, using eco-friendly materials that are flexible enough to shape around any surface and thick enough to effectively limit sound from passing through.
The black/dark grey materials provides exceptional acoustic performance, with 5kg Barriersorba sheets boasting a mean sound reduction of 22 decibels.
This product consists of high-density synthetic thermoplastic polymer mat loaded with naturally occurring minerals, making it eco-friendly and fully recyclable.
The Barriersorba sheets are free of mineral fibres and hence can be used safely in ventilated voids, with an operating temperature range of 30º C to +65º C.

Barriersorba Range
Versatile Sound Reduction Sheet
Ceilings & Floorboards
Our barrier sheets are flexible and can be hung as noise barrier sheets between ceiling soffits and laid on floorboards to reduce sound transmission between adjacent areas and floors to eleviate “room to room” sound problems.
Walls & Roofs
The sound reduction performance of lightweight partition walls and profiled metal commercial buildings can be boosted by incorporating Barriersorba sheets.
Airflow Ducts & Pipes
Airflow ventilation ducts provide very little mass to impede noise breakout. By fitting Barriersorba sheeting around the insulation, this significantly reduces the noise breakout.
